Over time, their health improved, and Chaat Mata became known as the protector of food purity. This tale emphasizes the importance of mindful, clean eating for overall well-being.

छठ माता की कहानी

कार्तिक शुक्ल पक्ष की षष्ठी को छठ पर्व मनाए जाने का विधान है। ये चार दिवसीय पर्व मुख्य रूप से बिहार में मनाया जाता है। यहां जानिए छठ की कहानी। ब्रह्म वैवर्त पुराण के अनुसार, जब भगवान ने संसार की रचना की, तो उन्होंने पुरुष और प्रकृति के द्वंद्व की रचना की। फिर प्रकृति को कई तत्वों में विभाजित किया गया, और छठा भाग छठी/षष्ठी है। ब्रह्म वैवर्त पुराण में भी उल्लेख है कि छठी मैया को ब्रह्मा की पुत्री देवसेना के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। देवसेना देवताओं के सेनापति स्कंध की पत्नी भी मानी जाती है |

नरकासुर की कहानी

नरकासुर एक अत्याचारी और क्रूर असुर राजा था, जिसने अपने शक्ति के नशे में चूर होकर देवताओं और अन्य निर्दोष प्राणियों पर अत्याचार किए। उसकी दुष्ट प्रवृत्तियों के कारण देवताओं में भय और आतंक का माहौल बन गया था। उसने कई देवताओं और पवित्र आत्माओं की कन्याओं को बंदी बना लिया था और अपनी शक्ति का गलत उपयोग करके अपने राज्य में आतंक का साम्राज्य स्थापित कर लिया था।

इस अत्याचारी असुर का अंत करने के लिए भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने उसकी ओर कदम बढ़ाए। इस अभियान में श्रीकृष्ण की पत्नी, देवी सत्यभामा ने भी उनकी सहायता की। पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार, सत्यभामा को एक वरदान प्राप्त था, जिसके कारण केवल वही नरकासुर का वध कर सकती थीं। सत्यभामा के साहस और भगवान कृष्ण की शक्ति के साथ, उन्होंने नरकासुर की विशाल सेना का सामना किया और उसे परास्त किया। युद्ध के अंतिम क्षणों में सत्यभामा ने अपने दिव्य बल से नरकासुर का वध कर दिया, जिससे उसका आतंक का साम्राज्य समाप्त हुआ और देवताओं को मुक्ति मिली।

इस विजय को नरक चतुर्दशी के रूप में मनाया जाता है, जो दीपावली के एक दिन पहले आता है। यह पर्व बुराई पर अच्छाई की जीत और धर्म की स्थापना का प्रतीक है। नरक चतुर्दशी के दिन दीप जलाकर अंधकार को दूर किया जाता है और जीवन में उजाले का स्वागत किया जाता है। यह पर्व हमें यह संदेश देता है कि सत्य और न्याय की राह पर चलते हुए सभी प्रकार की बुराइयों को पराजित किया जा सकता है, चाहे वे कितनी भी शक्तिशाली क्यों न हों।

 

Story of Narakasur

 

In Hindu mythology, Narakasura was a powerful yet cruel demon king who ruled with terror and tyranny. Known for his oppressive deeds, he inflicted suffering on countless beings and was infamous for capturing and imprisoning celestial beings, including the daughters of gods and saints. His reign spread fear and darkness across the realms, as he misused his power to dominate others and fulfill his selfish desires.

To put an end to Narakasura’s tyranny, Lord Krishna, the revered deity of love and justice, decided to take action. However, it was with the assistance of his wife, Satyabhama, that the final battle was fought. According to legend, Satyabhama played a crucial role in the battle due to a boon that only she could defeat Narakasura. Together, Krishna and Satyabhama bravely entered the demon's realm, confronting Narakasura’s vast armies and defeating them one by one. In the climactic battle, Satyabhama, channeling her divine strength, struck down Narakasura, freeing the world from his reign of terror and restoring peace.

The victory over Narakasura is celebrated as Naraka Chaturdashi, a day before Diwali, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil and the restoration of righteousness. This day holds special significance, as it reminds devotees of the power of divine intervention in conquering darkness and injustice, and it encourages individuals to light lamps to dispel negativity and bring forth light and joy. Naraka Chaturdashi serves as an enduring reminder that with courage, faith, and righteousness, evil can always be defeated.

चिदम्बरम मंदिर - भगवान शिव का अंतरिक्ष तत्व मंदिर

 

आज हम भगवान शिव के अंतरिक्ष तत्व मंदिर, थिल्लाई नटराज मंदिर की कहानी और विवरण सुनेंगे। यह मंदिर तमिलनाडु के चिदंबरम में स्थित है और इसे 10वीं शताब्दी में चोल राजाओं द्वारा बनाया गया था। इस मंदिर की वास्तुकला मानव शरीर से जुड़ी है | चिदंबरम में स्थित थिल्लई नटराज मंदिर आकाश (आकाश) तत्व की पूजा करता है, जो पंच तत्वों में सबसे सूक्ष्म है। थिल्लई नटराज मंदिर में भगवान शिव की निराकार रूप में पूजा की जाती है। "चिदंबरम" शब्द "चित" से लिया गया है, जिसका अर्थ है चेतना, और "अंबरम", जिसका अर्थ है आकाश। यह "चेतना का आकाश" को दर्शाता है, जो मानव जीवन का अंतिम लक्ष्य है।

One day, tormented by hunger and thirst, he arrived at the hermitage of the great sage Sumedha. When the sage asked him about his situation, the king narrated his entire story. The compassionate sage offered him hospitality and shelter in his hermitage. And then....

माता दुर्गा का सुरथ तथा समाधि को वरदान

देवी भागवत पुराण और मार्तंडए ब्रह्मपुराण में देवी भागवती के कृपा की एक कहानी आती है | प्राचीन समयकी बात है। स्वारोचिष मन्वन्तरमें सुरथ नामके एक परम धार्मिक राजा थे। वे परम उदार थे तथा प्रजाका पुत्रवत् पालन करते थे। दुर्योगवश उनके मन्त्री शत्रुओंसे मिल गये और शत्रुओंने उन्हें पराजित करके उनका राज्य छीन लिया। निराश होकर राजा सुरथ वनमें चले गये। एक दिन वे भूख-प्याससे व्याकुल अवस्थामें परम तपस्वी सुमेधा मुनिके आश्रममें पहुँचे। मुनिके पूछनेपर उन्होंने अपनी सम्पूर्ण कथा बतायी। दयालु मुनिने उनका यथोचित सत्कार किया और उन्हें आश्रममें आश्रय प्रदान किया।

पांडवों की अंतिम यात्रा

 

कुरुक्षेत्र के युद्ध और अपने राज्य को भोगने के बाद जब पांडवों को ये बात ज्ञात हुई के भगवान कृष्ण ने अपना देह त्याग दिया है तो उन्होंने भी संसार त्याग ने का निर्णय लिया | इस यात्रा को महाप्रस्थान कहते हैं |महाप्रस्थान करते समय पाण्डवोंने पश्चिमसे उत्तर दिशामें आकर महागिरि हिमालयका दर्शन किया।

The Last Journey of The Pandavas

 

After the Kurukshetra war and enjoying their kingdom, when the Pandavas learned that Lord Krishna had left his mortal body, they too decided to renounce the world. This journey is known as Mahaprasthana (The Great Departure). During their journey, the Pandavas traveled from the west to the north and beheld the mighty Himalayas. Crossing over them, they encountered a desert of sand. Then, they came across the great mountain Sumeru. The Pandavas, with focused minds, continued to walk with great speed.
