In ancient times, during the Swarochisha Manvantara, there lived a highly religious king named Surath. He was extremely generous and took care of his subjects as if they were his own children. Unfortunately, his ministers conspired with his enemies, and the enemies defeated him and took over his kingdom. Feeling dejected, King Surath retreated to the forest. One day, tormented by hunger and thirst, he arrived at the hermitage of the great sage Sumedha. When the sage asked him about his situation, the king narrated his entire story. The compassionate sage offered him hospitality and shelter in his hermitage. And then....

माता दुर्गा का सुरथ तथा समाधि को वरदान

देवी भागवत पुराण और मार्तंडए ब्रह्मपुराण में देवी भागवती के कृपा की एक कहानी आती है | प्राचीन समयकी बात है। स्वारोचिष मन्वन्तरमें सुरथ नामके एक परम धार्मिक राजा थे। वे परम उदार थे तथा प्रजाका पुत्रवत् पालन करते थे। दुर्योगवश उनके मन्त्री शत्रुओंसे मिल गये और शत्रुओंने उन्हें पराजित करके उनका राज्य छीन लिया। निराश होकर राजा सुरथ वनमें चले गये। एक दिन वे भूख-प्याससे व्याकुल अवस्थामें परम तपस्वी सुमेधा मुनिके आश्रममें पहुँचे। मुनिके पूछनेपर उन्होंने अपनी सम्पूर्ण कथा बतायी। दयालु मुनिने उनका यथोचित सत्कार किया और उन्हें आश्रममें आश्रय प्रदान किया।

पांडवों की अंतिम यात्रा

 

कुरुक्षेत्र के युद्ध और अपने राज्य को भोगने के बाद जब पांडवों को ये बात ज्ञात हुई के भगवान कृष्ण ने अपना देह त्याग दिया है तो उन्होंने भी संसार त्याग ने का निर्णय लिया | इस यात्रा को महाप्रस्थान कहते हैं |महाप्रस्थान करते समय पाण्डवोंने पश्चिमसे उत्तर दिशामें आकर महागिरि हिमालयका दर्शन किया।

The Last Journey of The Pandavas

 

After the Kurukshetra war and enjoying their kingdom, when the Pandavas learned that Lord Krishna had left his mortal body, they too decided to renounce the world. This journey is known as Mahaprasthana (The Great Departure). During their journey, the Pandavas traveled from the west to the north and beheld the mighty Himalayas. Crossing over them, they encountered a desert of sand. Then, they came across the great mountain Sumeru. The Pandavas, with focused minds, continued to walk with great speed.

Story of Anant Chaturdashi

Anant Chaturthi is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is observed by Hindus and Jains worldwide. On this day, Lord Vishnu is worshipped in his Anant or Infinite form. People make a commitment to the Lord and observe the Anant Vrat to get release from sorrow and suffering.

The word ‘Anant’ means endless and devotees believe that Lord Narayana will clear all the difficulties in one’s life, if the Anant Vrata is observed with utmost devotion. Some people observe this Vrata continuously for fourteen years. The Anant Shayna form of Lord Vishnu is worshipped today. Vishnu’s reclining posture represents the state of inactivity and is the form of Narayana before the evolution of the worlds and the creation of man.

Kalahasteshwara Temple – Lord Shiva’s Air Element Temple

 Sri Kalahasteeswara Temple is associated with Air Element related to Panchmahabhuteshwara – Lord Shiva. The Srikalahasteeswara temple, located in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh is the only Pancha Bootha Stalam situated outside Tamilnadu. It is widely believed that visiting Kalahasti temple can lead to mukti for devotees.

कालहस्तेश्वर मंदिर - भगवान शिव का वायु तत्व मंदिर

श्री कालहस्तीश्वर मंदिर पंचमहाभूतेश्वर से संबंधित वायु तत्व से जुड़ा हुआ है, जो भगवान शिव का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है। श्रीकालहस्तीश्वर मंदिर, चित्तूर, आंध्र प्रदेश में स्थित है और यह पंच भूता स्थलम में से एकमात्र ऐसा मंदिर है जो तमिलनाडु के बाहर स्थित है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि कालहस्ती मंदिर की यात्रा करने से भक्तों को मुक्ति प्राप्त होती है।

अनन्त चतुर्दशी की कहानी

 

अनंत चतुर्दशी हिंदू और जैन धर्म का एक महत्वपूर्ण त्योहार है, जो भगवान विष्णु को समर्पित है और इसे विश्वभर में भक्तों द्वारा मनाया जाता है। इस दिन भगवान विष्णु की पूजा उनके अनंत (असीम) रूप में की जाती है, जो उनकी अनंत शक्ति और दिव्यता का प्रतीक है। 'अनंत' शब्द का अर्थ होता है 'असीम' या 'अनंतकालिक', जो भगवान विष्णु की असीम शक्तियों को दर्शाता है।

इस अवसर पर भक्त अनंत व्रत रखते हैं और भगवान से यह वचन लेते हैं कि उनकी कठिनाइयों और दुखों से मुक्ति मिलेगी। यह माना जाता है कि जो व्यक्ति इस व्रत को पूर्ण भक्ति और श्रद्धा के साथ करता है, उनके जीवन से सभी कठिनाइयां भगवान नारायण (विष्णु) द्वारा दूर हो जाती हैं। कुछ लोग इस व्रत को चौदह वर्षों तक लगातार रखते हैं। अनंत चतुर्दशी के दिन भगवान विष्णु के "अनंत शय्या" रूप की पूजा की जाती है। इस रूप में भगवान विष्णु शयन मुद्रा में होते हैं, जो सृष्टि से पहले की अव्यवस्था और संतुलन की स्थिति का प्रतीक है। यह शयन मुद्रा दर्शाती है कि भगवान विष्णु सृष्टि की उत्पत्ति और विनाश के बीच संतुलन बनाए रखते हैं, और उनका यह रूप सृष्टि के अस्तित्व से पहले के समय का प्रतीक है।

When Lord Krishna Chose Khichadi over 56 Dishes

In today's story we see how easy it is to please God through devotion and love Jeevanji Doodi was a devout Krishna devotee living in the village of Kalwa in Nagaur, Rajasthan. On January 20, 1615, he was blessed with a daughter, whom he named Karmabai. Once, Jeevanji had to go out of town, so he instructed Karmabai to prepare food (bhog or prasadam) for Lord Krishna every morning and offer it to Him. He warned her that she should eat only after Krishna had accepted the offering.

भक्त के प्रेम से वशीभूत भगवान कितने सरल हो जाते हैं ये हमें समझ आता है कर्माबाई की खिचड़ी की कहानी से | तो चलिए सुनते है आज की कहानी | जीवनजी डूडी राजस्थानके नागौरके कलवा गाँवमें रहनेवाले एक कट्टर कृष्णभक्त थे। २० जनवरी सन् १६१५ई० में, उन्हें एक कन्यारत्नकी प्राप्ति हुई, जिसका नाम उन्होंने करमाबाई रखा। एक बार जीवन जी को बाहर जाना पड़ा और इसलिये, उन्होंने करमाबाईको निर्देश दिया कि वे श्रीकृष्ण के लिये सुबह भोजन (भोग या प्रसाद या नैवेद्य) तैयार करें और चढ़ायें। श्रीकृष्ण के भोग लेनेके बाद ही उन्हें भोजन करना चाहिये, जीवनजी ने करमाबाई को चेतावनी दी।

अर्जुन को शिवजी से मिला जयद्रथ वध का आशीर्वाद

 

महाभारत में ये कथा आती है कि जयद्रथ के वध के पूर्व किस प्रकार भगवान शिव ने अर्जुन की सहायता की| सबसे पहले मैं आपको ये बता दूँ कि अर्जुन को फाल्गुनी भी कहा जाता है क्योंकि उनका जन्म उत्तर फाल्गुनी के नक्षत्र में हुआ था | उत्तरा फाल्गुनी नक्षत्र में जन्मे लोगों को जीवन में ऐसे सहायक मिलते है या ऐसे मार्गदर्शक मिलते हैं जो उन्हें सही दिशा में ले कर जाते हैं और उनके जीवन की सफलता का कारण ही बनते हैं | और अर्जुन के जीवन के मार्गदर्शक कौन थे यह हम सभी जानते | तो आइए शुरू करते हैं आज की कहानी |
